Arriving at Perth Airport
Perth City Centre is approximately 14 kilometres from Perth Airport. The easiest commute to Perth CBD (and the most value friendly) is with Airport Shuttle Perth, running 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Pre-book this service prior with Airport Shuttle Service.
Alternatively you can travel to Perth CBD on the public transport system Transperth, with its many connections from Perth Airport. Other options include taxi, rideshare, and rental car.
You will arrive into Perth’s Domestic Airport at either Terminal 2 or Terminal 3. Make your way outside the terminal to the various transport services.

Departing from Brisbane Airport
Located 12 kilometres from the heart of Brisbane, Brisbane Airport is best accessed by Airtrain, a 20-minute journey that runs every 15-30 minutes. Either tap on Airtrain with your Translink go card, or pre-book your Airtrain ticket online.
Other travel options to Brisbane Airport are taxi, rideshare, and shuttle bus – or self-drive and utilise the airport parking.
In non-peak time the drive is approximately 20-minutes from Brisbane CBD, however it’s best to allow additional time in peak periods.

What time do I need to arrive at Brisbane Airport?
If you’re planning to check in luggage we recommend that you plan to arrive at the airport 60 minutes prior to your flight time, as check-in is 45 minutes prior departure. This should allow you enough time to grab a coffee before making your way to the departure gate for your flight to Perth.

8.30am – Breakfast at Petition

11.30am – Catch the latest exhibition at Western Australian Museum
Next up you’re off to Western Australian Museum, to the most recent addition, WA Museum Boola Bardi in Perth Cultural Centre. Home to fabulous changing and permanent exhibitions, you can even catch a film if visiting during Perth Festival (mid-Feb to mid-March).
12.30pm – Lunch treat in arty Northbridge

2pm – Matagarup Bridge for Perth aerial views
Time to work off that incredible lunch, you’re booked on the climb to the top of Perth’s Matagarup Bridge, escalating at a 45-degree angle with 314 steps, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views from Skyview Deck.
3pm – Kings Park and Botanic Garden
After that adrenalin hit you’re ready to wind down, with time at stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden which incredibly is even larger than New York’s Central Park! Kings Park offers phenomenal views of the city, darling ranges, and Swan and Canning Rivers
4.30pm – Drinks at The Flour Factory
It’s cocktail hour! You’re off to experience The Flour Factor, an inner-city public house across three floors of a historic 100-year-old flour mill, offering over 100 gins from around the world, craft beers, and a seasonal cocktail menu.
7pm – Oyster Bar
Drag yourself away from drinks, you have dinner is booked at Oyster Bar overlooking Swan River in the in the Elizabeth Quay precinct, their humorous tag line ‘don’t just sit there ogling – come and visit us today’. Try one of their changing specials such as “Killa Thursdays” ($2 Kilpatrick oysters) – you’ve reached foodie heaven!
9.00pm – Cheeky nightcap at Bobeche

What to pack for your trip to Perth?
Perth offers an enviable temperature year-round, so we recommend that you pack light and breathable clothes. Not too dissimilar to Brisbane, Perth is casual - so a mix of shorts, long pants, dresses and a light jacket should work for most of the year.
