Things to do in Qatar

  • Be sure to explore the city of Doha and see it all it has to offer. From the Museum of Islamic Art to a walk along the famous corniche, Doha has something for everyone. As for dining, Doha has quality in abundance and high class eateries stand shoulder-to-shoulder with local restaurants serving local cuisine.
  • Historical landmarks are among Qatar’s top attractions. Check out the Katara Cultural Village in Doha and see classic Arabic architecture as well as a beautiful open-air theatre where shows are held regularly.
  • Fancy a bit of adventure? Try a full-day desert safari and ride the dunes of Khor Al Udein in a 4x4 driven by an experienced driver.

Qatar Tourism

Qatar is a hot country, especially during the summer months so it is best to travel there between November and early April. Book your tickets to Qatar in advance if you want to catch some of the country’s key events, like the Doha Cultural Festival and the Qatar Marine Festival (March), or the brilliant Art Festival of Qatar (December).
