AFL & AFLW

Virgin Australia is the official airline of the AFL & AFLW and have been proud partners since 2001. We transport the players, coaches, league officials and fans all 18 clubs on hundreds of flights a season, sharing the magic of the game all over Australia.

Youth & Family - Starlight Children's Charity

Virgin Australia is the official wish-granting partner of the Starlight Children’s Charity and have been proudly supporting the charity since 2010. Since then we have helped facilitate over 3,000 travel wishes for sick kids travelling on their wishes right around Australia.

Inclusion - What Ability

Virgin Australia is a proud partner of What Ability, an NDIS-registered disability support service that provides people living with disability uplifting experiences. We fly support workers around the country and also work collaboratively to educate our staff on creating inclusive and accessible experiences for our guests.

Community relief

Virgin Australia fly people and equipment in times of urgent need. Be it a natural or manmade disaster, crisis event or public emergency we strive to support the Australian community when it matters most, aligned to our core value of “having a big heart”.

Please note that due to the high volume of requests we receive each week, unfortunately we are unable to respond individually to each application.

We will be in contact with you within four to six weeks if we wish to discuss your application further. However, if you have not heard from us within six weeks, please note that, regrettably, your request has not been accepted.
