Important Note:
- Eligible members will need to identify themselves to Air New Zealand staff by presenting either their physical or digital Velocity Frequent Flier status card along with one of the following:
- A Virgin Australia Itinerary/ticket.
- The Virgin Australia app showing the Virgin Australia flight number/booking.
- A Virgin Australia issued boarding pass.
- The name on the card must match the name on the booking/ticket.
- Additional guests must be travelling on the same flight as the eligible member.
- Infants (under 2 years old) can enter the lounge with the eligible member. Children over the age of 2 count as a guest.
- Lounge access is subject to Air New Zealand’s Lounge Terms and Conditions, capacity, and operating hours.
- Eligible members travelling on a Virgin Australia marketed flight operated by Air New Zealand departing from the Gold Coast or Adelaide will have access to the Virgin Australia domestic lounge. Access is subject to Virgin Australia’s Lounge Terms and Conditions, capacity, and operating hours.
- Eligible members will have access to Air New Zealand Lounges in the following international airports before their Trans-Tasman flight, when travelling on a Virgin Australia marketed flight operated by Air New Zealand: Wellington, Christchurch, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth. In Auckland, access to the third party ‘Strata’ lounge is available.
- Access to Air New Zealand domestic lounges or any other worldwide lounge is not permitted for Virgin Australia guests and eligible members.
